The seemingly "poor" intelligence represented from the article, ironically, really weakens what intelligence is. In certain sense, this article really strengthen the importance of AlphaGo:
AlphaGo does appear know Go, and the author seemingly have weak understanding of AI and GO, making it a poor intelligent being that is specialized in writing articles. Apparently Go is considered require more intelligence than writing normal articles. So AlphaGo performs well in a task that requires more intelligence, and the author performs poorly in a task that requires less intelligence. Does this make AlphaGo a better intelligent being than the author?
