So run Electron like a game. Leverage the GPU, if that really is the issue. Or run it like Qt, which manages to avoid that problem.

I just think that's a weak excuse, especially given most games have tremendous complexity running through the CPU too.

(As a side note I don't think paradox games are a good example. They're famously poorly optimised.)
